Women an 'afterthought' in rehabilitation revolution

The House of Commons Justice Select Committee claims the needs of women in the criminal justice system are being ignored under the government's rehabilitation revolution plans. The claim comes as the chief executive of Fawcett Society warns that government plans to remove the public sector equality duty would be akin to 'a systematic dismantling of the state's role in tackling inequality'.
