Criminology on trial

Monday, 15 July 2013

P A J Waddington has written a post on the Oxford University Press blog on the recent social harm debate at the British Society of Criminology conference. Our Open University colleague Steve Tombs led the charge in favour of a social harm perspective. Loraine Gelsthorpe from the Institute of Criminology led the defence of criminology.

Over the next three years the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies will be running a strategic project on the social harms of criminal justice.
