Our 'Lunch with' guests in October were Pragna Patel from Southall Black Sisters and Suresh Grover from The Monitoring Group.
Reflecting on the some of the successes of Southall Black Sisters and The Monitoring Group – freeing Kiranjit Ahluwalia from prison, for instance, and and the long struggle for justice in the case of the murder of Stephen Lawrence – Pragna emphasised the importance of working in solidarity, and finding common cause with others.
We thought it was such an important observation we wanted to share it.
