Rod Morgan is Professor Emeritus at the University of Bristol and Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics and Cardiff University.
He was HM Chief Inspector of Probation for England and Wales (2001–2004) and Chairman of the Youth Justice Board for England and Wales (2004–2007).
He is currently an advisor to the five criminal justice inspectorates and among his many publications are his contributions to and joint editorship of The Oxford Handbook of Criminology (4th ed., Oxford University Press, 2007).
