Unlocking Holloway for the Community
This Community Plan for Holloway publication articulates the vision that local people in Islington have of the kind of development they would like to see on the former site of Holloway prison.
Unlocking Holloway for the Community is based on an extensive programme of community engagement carried out with the help of partners in the borough between April and September 2017.
It also gives an overview of the sale process and key activities Community Plan for Holloway and other local organisations have carried out around the site since the prison's closure in late 2015.
The vision document was launched at a public meeting at St George's Church in Islington on 2 March. Over 200 people came to discuss what actions they could take to ensure the vision was turned into a reality.
