Dr Basia Spalek, guest editor of the themed section, and contributors examine approaches to political violence since 9/11.

Contributors include Abdul Haqq Baker, chair of the Brixton Mosque; John Tulloch, a victim of the 7/7 bombings and Robert Lambert, former head of the Metropolitan Police Muslim Contact Unit examine approaches to political violence since 9/11.

The magazine also includes a variety of articles on topical issues, including a critique of the government's drug stategy by former deputy 'drug czar' Mike Trace; a discussion of the creeping criminalisation of young people and a review of penal policy making in Scotland.
