The video of Jason Warr’s conversation with Richard Garside is now available.
Dr Jason Warr, associate professor of criminology at the University of Nottingham, was recently awarded the prestigious Radzinowicz Price for the best article in The British Journal of Criminology.
In this special event, before an in-person audience, and with many others joining online, Jason spoke about how he got into criminological research, why the experiences of racialised populations in the criminal justice system matter, and what the big challenges for criminology and criminal justice policy-making are, going forward.
Following the conversation with Jason Warr, those who attended in-person were treated to a lovely buffet provided by Arfa Shah, who cooks delicious food every Wednesday evening at the Bonnington Cafe, just around the corner from our offices.
