Tuesday, 15 October 2013

A new study published in The Lancet Respitory Medicine journal has found a correlation between low birth weight and mothers living in areas with more pollution and heavy traffic.

According to The Guardian, 'For every increase of 5 micrograms per cubic metre in exposure to fine particulate matter during pregnancy, the risk of low birthweight in the baby rose by 18%'.
