Minimum price for alcohol to be abandoned

The home secretary Theresa May will announce next week that plans for a minimum alcohol price are to be abandoned, according to The Daily Telegraph. No doubt another example of the government scrapping the barnacles off the boat in the run-up to the next General Election.
