An evening with David Nutt

Wednesday, 4 September 2019

Our latest event - an evening with David Nutt - is on 30 October. The event is being held ten years to the day that Professor Nutt was fired from his role as chair of the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs for standing for drugs policies grounded in science and evidence.

We are delighted to announce our latest event, Professor David Nutt: speech and reception, which will be held on 30 October, from 6 to 9 pm, at the Edmond J Safra Lecture Theatre, Kings College London. The event is being held ten years to the day that Professor Nutt was fired from his role as chair of the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs for standing for drugs policies grounded in science and evidence.

Now a decade later, we are holding another event with Professor Nutt to take stock and discuss what has changed over the period and what still needs to be done in order to see a world where drug control is rational and evidence-based; where drug use is better informed and drug users are understood; and where drugs are used to heal, not harm.

More details and tickets can be found here.
