Call for harsher punishment for internet pirates

British MPs want those who illegally download a substantial amount to face ten years in prison.  The Independent  reports that MPs strongly condemn Google for not doing enough to block sites which host illegal downloadable content and claim internet ‘pirates’ are responsible for jeopardising Britain’s creative industry.
