All you need to know about poverty

Monday, 16 December 2013

Chris Goulden, Head of the Poverty Team at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, has posted ten charts about poverty in the UK on the Buzzfeed website. The data is drawn from a report by the New Policy Institute.

According to the data, there are 13 million people in poverty and there are a growing number of women being paid less than the living wage.

The Centre for Crime and Justice Studies conducted an evidence review on poverty and institutional care in the UK for the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and will be publishing our results in 2014.
