Dr Harry Annison is an Associate Professor in Criminal Law and Criminology at Southampton Law School.
He studies penal politics and policy making, analysing national processes (often through ‘elite interviews’) and how these are experienced by affected groups. Substantively his work focuses currently on parole and probation. He has recently collaborated with organisations including Prison Reform Trust, JUSTICE and Justice Futures.
