Dr Liat Tuv

Dr Liat Tuv is a Policy and Research Officer at the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies.

Liat’s background is in social anthropology. Her PhD research explored the everyday ethics of dealing with inequality and difference in a joint Palestinian and Jewish Israeli community working together for equality and peace. Addressing inequality – its causes and effects – remains a central research interest and motivation. In recent years, Liat has worked in the charity sector and hopes to bring that experience to the role as well.

Currently, Liat is working on analysing criminal justice data to identify how trends differ according to gender and ethnicity.
