Weaker wine proposed to curb middle-class drinking

Wine drinkers are set to be 'dismayed' at the prospect of watered down wine now that the government has stepped up plans to rewrite EU rules. It wants a  reduction to the minimum strength of table wines which, it is said, will generally taste 'rubbish'.
