Ben Entwistle is a retired Probation Officer, with a Masters degree in Creative Writing.
Ben was born in Woolwich and grew up in Wakefield. He started volunteering for the Probation Service in 1985 after completing a Theology Degree at Nottingham University. In 1992, Ben qualified as a Probation Officer in Sheffield (CQSW, MA) and then went part-time in 2015, in order to pursue his Masters' degree at Manchester Metropolitan University. He retired two years ago and is now a member of the Chester Poets and Crewe’s oldest Karate Club.
