We were delighted to hear that our Open University colleague Dr Deborah Drake has been awarded this year's British Society for Criminology book prize for her book Prison, Punishment and the Pursuit of Security.

Deborahshares the prize jointly with Coretta Phillips, for her book The Multicultural Prison. She recently guest edited CJM 91 on prison ethnography.
