Legalising cannabis: the £1.25 bn tax benefit

Research by the Institute for Social and Economic Research has said that decriminalising cannabis could cut the cost of policing, prosecuting and treating drug users by up to £300m a year; and tax revenue from licensing could bring in £400m to £900m a year, reports The Independent.
