‘Last month in criminal justice’ is a monthly panel discussion on recent developments in criminal justice between staff from the Centre and guests.
For this webinar, our Director, Richard Garside, and our Research Analyst, Matt Ford, was joined by:
- Katrina Ffrench, founding Director of UNJUST, a London-based organisation with a national remit that addresses discrimination within policing practices and policies. Committed to reimagining policing and promoting public safety, UNJUST is focused on disrupting the status quo. Formerly the chief executive of StopWatch, Katrina has overseen the publication of several evidenced-based reports and led a range of advocacy initiatives aimed at influencing policy and practice. Katrina has also held the vice-chair and chair positions on The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime Pan-London Stop and Search Community Monitoring Network.
- Donna Mooney, campaigner with UNGRIPP, working on behalf of prisoners and ex-prisoners serving the Indeterminate Sentence for Public Protection (IPP) in England and Wales.
