In It Together - Rough Justice

In It Together - Rough Justice

In It Together: The Joint Enterprise Podcast goes beyond the media headlines to explore how joint enterprise works, who it affects, and why campaigners are arguing that justice is not being served by these vague laws.

Presented by Maxine Peake, this episode explores how the problem with broad, vague concepts like ‘foresight’ or ‘encouragement’ is compounded when the legal system doesn’t take into account factors, like autism, which can affect someone’s ability to anticipate or understand other people’s behaviour.

In this episode we hear from experts including Professor Simon Baron-Cohen, Dr Felicity Gerry KC, Dr Nisha Waller and Becky Clarke.

It also features Alex Henry, Anthony Wallder and Maureen and Kelly Smith’s stories.

This podcast has been produced by Ear Worm Productions and edited by our Head of Programmes Helen Mills in collaboration with JENGbA. It has been funded by the Institute of Now and the Barry Amiel & Norman Melburn Trust.
