An interview with Faye S. Taxman, exploring the future of prison rehabilitation and care service delivery in America. A trained criminologist who specialises in health services and issues related to helping people address mental health, substance use and physical health issues to help them improve the quality of life across the justice sector: justice agencies, prisons, probation, jails and courts. This interview explored evidence-based practices and models of treatment, discussions of prison culture and the role security and correctional officers play in potentially hindering rehabilitation.
