Prison reform groups, such as the Prison Reform Trust and the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies, are significant voices within prisons in England and Wales. They have the opportunity to influence, support, and encourage the Government, managers of prisons, and prison staff; they also provide essential advocacy for people in prison and people on probation. In this interview, we discuss the future challenges and relationships seen in prison reform. We do this through exploring themes of evidence, voices, policy solutions, and decarceration.
