The British Journal of Criminology is proud to host its inaugural Annual Lecture, bringing together leading scholars to engage with cutting-edge research in criminology.
This year’s lecture will be delivered by Professor Robert Sampson of Harvard University, who will discuss themes from his latest book, Marked by Time: Confronting the Challenge of Social Change in Crime and Punishment.
The lecture will explore the dynamics of social change in crime and punishment, examining how long-term social processes shape patterns of crime, justice, and inequality. It promises to be a thought-provoking session for academics, practitioners, and anyone interested in understanding the complex interplay between society and criminal justice.
