How do we prevent the criminalisation of young women and girls, now and for future generations?
As part of the Breaking out of the Justice Loop programme, we are bringing together a roundtable to address that question.
This is the first of three events – the next two will focus on economics and public health – designed to address questions that are less often asked, challenge assumptions, and make space for collective reflection, and new thinking.
In this event – on preventing the criminalisation of young women and girls – a collection of experts will share policy, practice, and lived experience perspectives on:
- The key issues facing young women and girls today
- Getting systems to work better and prevent criminalisation
- Who should be accountable for preventing the criminalisation of young women and girls, and what would make change last
While the roundtable discussion will be in-person, we will be live-streaming the whole event.
