Saturday, 12 October 2013

Eight construction firms who unlawfully blacklisted construction workers have announced a compensation scheme, The Guardian reports.

The eight - Balfour Beatty, Carillion, Costain, Kier, Laing O'Rourke, Sir Robert McAlpine, Skanska UK and Vinci - were among more than 40 firms that funded an illegal blacklisting agency that kept files on over 3,200 workers deemed to be politically disruptive.
