  2. Judging

2.1 The Organiser reserves the right to reject any entry at its absolute discretion. In particular, the Organiser reserves the right to reject any entry that contains images which in its absolute discretion it considers to be inappropriate or potentially harmful. For example, but without limitation, any images considered to promote criminal or harmful behaviour, images containing offensive language or depicting nudity or obscene acts or images with the potential to incite racial or religious hatred will be rejected.

2.2 The Photography Competition will be judged by a judging panel comprised of photographers, curators and academics in the field, in the period of 6th-17th April 2009. All decisions of the judging panel are final and the Organiser will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition results. The winning entries will be those which, in the opinion of the judges, most aptly and ably interpret the category themes.

2.3 Details of the winners will be published on the Organiser's website at www.whatiscrime.org.uk. All winners will be contacted by email no later than 15th May 2009.

  3. Prizes

3.1 Prizes are non-exchangeable and non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash or any other prize.

3.3 The Organiser is not responsible for any delays in prize delivery.

3.4 If a prize is unclaimed after reasonable attempts by the Organiser have been made to contact the winner then the Organiser will be entitled to dispose of the prize as it thinks fit without any liability to the winner for having done so.

3.5 The Organiser reserves the right to use the winners' names, including photographs of the winners, for promotional purposes both in print and on its website.
