The Community Passport project at Polmont YOI in Scotland provides individual relationship support to challenge, motivate and advocate on behalf of the young male offenders at the prison. Emma Hunter's personal contribution and hard work has resulted in a tremendous success for the project and subsequently has helped many young offenders successfully reintegrated into their communities. She has provided much valued one-to-one support to assist young people to continue training, employment and education upon their release and has built strong partnerships with the voluntary and private sector support agencies to ensure successful transitions back into the community. Emma has also piloted family case conferences within the prison to agree support for the young offenders upon release. The success of the project has been felt by many of the young men who have been in touch with Emma, who through her professional attitude and solid commitment to assisting people, continues to drive the project forward.
