Will McMahon
Policy Director

Will McMahon is the policy lead for the Harm and Society project and Policy Director at the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies. Will has a social policy and parliamentary background, having previously worked at the Child Poverty Action Group, the National Children's Bureau and as a parliamentary researcher.

Will's interests include anti-social behaviour, underclass theories, attachment theory, social harm, prevention and political economy. He is a regular commentator in the media on the government's anti-social behaviour strategy, as well as on wider harm-related matters. Recent publications by Will include an analysis of the enduring relevance of John Bowlby's attachment theories: Bowlby's contribution for an ASBO age.
