Richard Garside
Director
Richard has been the director of the Centre since 2006, having previously been the director of the Crime and Society Foundation and head of communications at Nacro, the crime reduction charity.
He has written on a range of crime and criminal-justice issues. Recent publications include 'Right for the wrong reasons' and, with others, 'Ten years of criminal justice under Labour: an independent audit'. He is a regular media commentator on a range of crime and related issues, as well as giving speeches and participating in conferences and debates. His current interests centre on questions of crime, harm and political economy (see paper in Social justice and criminal justice).
