The 20th Eve Saville memorial lecture will be presented by Professor David Nutt, Imperial College London. The current classification of illicit drugs is based on their relative harms. However, assessing such harms is challenging. Over the last few years Professor Nutt, and others, have been exploring the optimal way of doing this and this lecture will share some of the problems and successes of their endeavours.
