Tuesday, 19 November 2013

Former Olympic champion Chris Boardman has called for the banning of lorries in British cities during rush hour after a cyclist was killled by an HGV, becoming the sixth person to die in London in two weeks.

In the past four years 30 cyclists have been killed by lorries in London, and last year 25 cyclists were killed by HGVs across Britain, reports The Times.
