Help us to inspire enduring change - 80th Anniversary Appeal

The Centre for Crime and Justice Studies is celebrating its eightieth anniversary year in 2011. Throughout our history we have had a track record of policy independence and research integrity. Our commitment to the evidence base means that we do not endorse `flavour of the month' policy solutions. Our commitment to independence means that we do not attempt to take the `inside track' with the government of the day. Instead, we seek to focus on fact rather than myth, with the aim of inspiring enduring change.

In 1931, the world was living through a major financial crisis. Eighty years on we face equally uncertain times. These `new times' will be challenging and will need independent and critical thinking; the Centre stands ready to meet this challenge maintaining its tradition of honesty and working in the public interest. To do this, independent sources of funding are crucial; so we are asking all those who support our mission and values to help us by making a donation to our 80th Anniversary Appeal.
